From quarry to forest: the transformation story of Periland Eco Park

What was once a quarry impacted by human activity is now a symbol of ecological restoration in the Bogotá Savannah. In the heart of Cajicá, within the Upper Bogotá River Basin Protected and Productive Forest Reserve, a project was born that demonstrates that nature can be reborn when we decide to act. Thus began the transformation of Periland Eco Park.
